Cascade Bank Fits CAPERS Style Perfectly.

Lisa Myers focuses on being a part of a neighborhood. She loves the energy, the camaraderie and the comfort that comes with belonging to a neighborhood.

When she wanted to launch a second CAPERS store, she looked for a location that was as neighborhood-oriented as her first one in West Seattle. She landed in Fremont, where the residents’ sense of community is legendary and their tastes are often unique and up-scale.

CAPERS opened in Fremont during the Holiday Season in 2004, and Lisa reports it’s off to a grand start. Her fine home furnishings and accessories store is located in the heart of Fremont, an area that draws regular shoppers from near and far.

Cascade Bank gave her a Line of Credit that helped her expand her product lines and buy seasonal inventory.

“I like it that everybody at Cascade is so nice,” Lisa said. “When your job is in customer service you appreciate it when your bank ‘gets’ that. With my previous bank I’d go there every single day and they didn’t acknowledge me.”

“CAPERS and Cascade are a lot alike,” she continued. “We both understand the value of great customer service, and that it’s the most valuable product we sell. We both get to know our customers and their particular tastes. You can’t give someone a loan or sell them furniture for their house if you don’t understand everything they tell you, and then some.”

In addition to serving the needs of its customers, CAPERS is a staunch supporter of community programs. Lisa Myers believes in giving back to her community. CAPERS donates auction items to local schools and shelters and is the sign-up headquarters for the Race for the Cure, which supports breast cancer research.

So the next time you’re looking for that perfect household gift or seeking inspiration for your own dwelling, visit CAPERS, where Lisa and her staff will listen and guide. And when you need a business loan or line of credit, visit another community favorite:  Cascade Bank.
